Still Waiting.......

My builder is still saying next Monday 15 March 2010 should be my site start date. We are calling him numerous times per day to check on the progress (or lack of). We are finding this stage super frustrating as apart from these paper hold ups we have been ready to go for the past 6 weeks.

At this point in time we are just trying to stay positive and not think about it too much. But I am really starting to feel like we may never get this house. I know once it does start the wait will seem like nothing. In 3 weeks it will be 1 year since we put our deposit on the land. Might have to have an anniversary party (with a chainsaw if the trees are still standing).

On a brighter note we ran into some more neighbours in our street yesterday. We met the people across the road at number 9 and the people from number 16 were there at the same time. More young families with young kids so I think lots of kids will be playing in the street together.
