The View from Upstairs

Andy finally climbed upstairs for the first time today so we have to believe him when he says the rooms are all a good size and everything is constrcuted well.

Today saw the 2 ground floor lounge room windows go in and as per what we have found so far, they are waaaaaay bigger than we were expecting. Also going in were the sliding doors at the back completing all of the ground floor windows.

Our roof trusses have also arrived today and the builder has determined in conjunction with the roofers that our roof will not be able to be 100% completed before the bricking is done. Some of the parts of the roof can only go in after bricks and flashing are in place.

As a result the roof will be started tomorrow and the bricking will be bought forward to hopefully start next week.
Fingers crossed our delays are behind us and its smooth sailing from here on in.
