Retaining Wall with fence + Bricks arrive

With one of our neighbours already in we needed to have one boundary fence completed. As we also needed a retaining wall on the same side, so we had the wall put on the boundary line with the fence on top. It came up nicely and now allows us to see exactly how much space we have in our side yard.

About 1 week after the wall was completed the bricks arrived. The bricks are stacked right across the front and right down the side of the house.

They are the ugliest red commons available and managed to scare one of the neighbour who was thinking that was the finished brick colour. Thankfully they will all be bagged/ rendered and painted Dulux Ecru. We are hoping the bricks start this week.
